Vaccine Impulse provides critical support for the fight against vaccine preventable infectious diseases.
In the midst of the Covid-19 economic crisis it became apparent that immunization is key for prosperity of individuals and whole nations.
Over 30 million children in low income countries are without adequate immunization. In low- and middle-income countries specifically children do not have access to sufficient health care and are therefore poorly equipped to fight childhood diseases.
As one of the most impactful healthcare interventions vaccines have saved millions of lives, however still too many humans and particularly children die of vaccine-preventable infections.
The currently ongoing Covid-19 pandemic illustrates the extended problem of broad vaccination strategies once a vaccine is available and thus calls for a new type of mechanism to jump-start broad scale immunization across the globe and in geographies where few can afford vaccines.
Funding through our VaccineImpulse Initiative provides critical support for the fight against vaccine preventable infectious diseases. With our crowd-based platform to collect of donations for vaccine delivery we give global citizens the possibility to save lives and improve economical power by supporting urgently needed vaccination programs.
